My NaNoWriMo 2012. Yay! Just over 108 days away...
I'm doing... drumroll.... 300,000 WORDS!!!
No, that's not a typo. That's seriously what I'm going to do.
My Words Per Minute is probably around 50. I can write 1000 words in 20 minutes. That's pretty good, isn't it? 3000 words in an hour. Just 3 1/3 hours a day. I can do this.
I might be able to do 40 minutes (2000 words) during school. They probably won't give us our schedules until the first day of school. Or the second day of school when we really need them (like last year).
I might be able to tell my LA/SS teacher, and she might not make me do homework or anything.
I'll stay up late.
I'll write 10 hours on days I don't have school (when I can, not Thanksgiving).
I'll cut robotics short if I have to.
But I'll still watch new episodes of Doctor Who. :)
If I can write 10 hours (30,000 words) on the days I don't have school and I can, that would be 90,000 words. Yay! Then only 210,000 words left, that would only be 7778 words per day, which would only be 2 2/3 hours a day.
Then there's weekends...
If I can do all my homework on Friday night, then I can have Saturdays and Sundays to write. Saturdays is almost completely out (robotics and probably Doctor Who). So I have Sundays to write about 3 days worth. Then there's Wednesdays...
Great. I just realized that I might be busy every day of the week.
YES! THERE'S ONE MORE DAY OFF OF SCHOOL!
120,000 words! 6924 words a day! only 2 1/3 hours a day!
What about 11 hours a day?
